Instructions for sending your key in for service
Where to send it
You won't find my address here. You need to contact me with what car and what is the problem you are having with the remote key.
If approved I will send you back information on sending the remote key in for repair. Contact me at scott@bmwgm5.com
How to send it
You can send the key to me any way you wish. USPS, FedEx and UPS all know where I am and will
deliver without any problems. If you send it FedEx or UPS, beware that they will drop
it on my porch even if you request a signature upon delivery. The lazy drivers
don't care and don't even ring the door bell or knock to let me know that
there is a delivery. Actually the UPS driver will usually ring the doorbel, but, FedEx won't. I hate those guys. The FedEx guys and the postman are great.
They always knock and wait for a signature when one is required. Simple US Mail
will work. I have a locked mail box so it won't easily get stolen.
How much will it cost
The price will vary depending on what the problem is, what remote key and if you tampered with the case. Did you cut it open? I'll cost you extra. Did you mess with the original battery? That'll cost extra too.
How to pay
If you are within the US, payment can be made via Zelle (to p9019@yahoo.com), Venmo (to @Scott-Johnson-1241), cash or money order. If you are outside the US I only accept
US cash, US check or PayPal.
When using PayPal please make sure I receive payment by the night before the key is due to arrive otherwise there might be a delay in the repair. My PayPal account is scott@bmwgm5.com
