BMW Relay Module 4 or RMIV

The BMW Relay Module 4 or RMIV is used on the E36 3-series sedans from model year 1994 until the end of production. The P/N of my unit is 61.35-8 353 099. There are many P/Ns.

What does the RMIV do? In conjunction with the GM4 it controls the rear power windows.

The RMIV is located behind the glovebox below the GM4 module.

Below is a picture of my RMIV module.

This module uses 2 relays. The familar V23078-C1002-A303 relays, available here, that are also use in the BMW GM3, GM4 and GM5 modules to control power windows.

I have numbered the relays and when I find out I will explain what each relays does. One is for the left windows and one is for the right. I will update when I find out.
